Loopy Rails
Loopy Rails is a roguelike roller coaster builder where the player is tasked with building the most thrilling ride possible. Every round, choose from various tracks with unique attributes to purchase and assemble. Beware- fail to meet the quota , and your roller coaster building privileges will be revoked.
(Game is currently very unbalanced!)
How to Play:
Build a Roller coaster track and run it to gain score. You can only run a track if it has a starter track placed down and the track loops seamlessly. Every day you get money based on the score and at the end of the week you must have enough money to pay the quota. The quota increases every week, so see how far you can get!
Camera: "WASD" to move, Scroll Wheel to zoom in/out
Building: Buy pieces and they will appear below in your inventory.
Left click a track in your inventory to begin placing them.
Right click removes the track and puts it back into your inventory.
"R" key rotates pieces.
Unique Pieces:
Tracks in the shop with a purple background belong to a set. Collecting all unique pieces (Slope, Loop, and Track) of a set unlock its true potential boosting all tracks of the same collection.
Normal Pieces:
Slope tracks increase the suspense multiplier which applies to the next tracks but diminishes rapidly after the initial boost.
Loop tracks increase the thrill multiplier which only apply to the current track.
Boost tracks increase the velocity of a cart which carries over to the next tracks. Velocity is retained better than suspense.
Tracks have different base values, but all non-themed tracks have a base score of 100 (excluding the start track)
